Having grown up in the Mid-West I never thought that my life would lead me to several other states and end up in Alaska. Alaska life does hold many fascinations.

When living in the Southwest I started pursuing my jewelry designing and making interests. With the help and advice of others more accomplished than me, much was learned.

So, 2010 holds lots of new creations. One that will be coming very soon is Lampwork beads from our Alaska studio. Jim, our artist, has certainly created some beauties and I am sure you will find them fascinating. The more you look at his Lampwork beads, the more you see.

Crackle Quartz is pure tumbled quartz, composed of silicon dioxide, is heated then cooled in a dye bath to create these rich coloured pieces. Pieces maintain their basic quartz properties, and carry the energy of the colour introduced into them as well.
